A little bit about me!
I was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula and I attended school in a very small town called Pacific Grove, California and graduated from high school there. I then attended Monterey Peninsula College full time where I took courses in Child Development and worked part time at the Preschool on campus. Soon later we started a family and had our first son.
In 1997 I began working at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and spent about 10 years there working as an Administrative Assistant. During my time there in 2001, I had our second son. At that point I really wanted to start a home daycare, but our home was a much too small townhouse with a small yard and not enough space for the children to play, so I decided to wait until we owned our own home with more room.
In 2005 we moved to Chula Vista due to my husband being active military and stationed in San Diego. My husband is a Senior Chief in the Navy. I instantly loved the Otay Ranch area and knew that this was where I wanted to raise our family.
Soon after our move here we had our third son. We bought a home with the perfect set up to finally start my own daycare, with lots of space for the children to play and a beautiful yard to play in. This was when I decided that it was finally my opportunity to start my own home daycare and spend my days home with children.
I have been a Licensed Home Daycare Provider here in Otay Ranch now since 2006 and love it very much! I enjoy spending time with all of these amazing children and also getting the wonderful benefit of being home with my own children. On weekends I love spending time with my family, photography, home decorating and riding my Harley! My husband and I love this area and plan on making this our forever home!
